A Bit About Victor Fang ...
I was born in Shantou, a small scenery town with only 5 million population in Southern China. Most people never heard about it, but she gave birth also to the richest Asian Li Ka-shing, and Pony Ma who founded the Internet giant. It's fair to say, entrepreneurship is in my blood.
My Chinese name: Chunsheng Fang (方春生), means I was born on the Spring Festival, the most important Asian holiday.
In the 2000's, I moved to the US to pursue my Ph.D. in Computer Science specializing in AI, during the "AI winter" when no one believed it, but I found it fascinating, since to me, AI is "machine programming on its own" and could advance humanity. My Ph.D. dissertation was around graph embedding, btw, it's relevant to today's ChatGPT.
I have the fortune to spend more than a decade in Silicon Valley pioneering AI products for cybersecurity, enterprises and education.
